How We Can Help
ASSESSMENT & DIAGNOSIS
Putting You First
At Colorado Sports Physiotherapy, we hear your story and take a detailed history. To that end, we create an individualized treatment plan including Assessment & Diagnosis aimed at achieving the functional goals we set together.
CONTINUED CARE
Patient-Centered Treatment
We take the time to understand the root of your problem in order to provide the best and most effective treatment. Through our years of experience, we create individualized rehabilitation programs to address your specific symptom presentation.
The Gold Standard in Soft Tissue Care
ART® is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.
ART® is highly effective in treating and alleviating headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, tennis elbow and more.
Dysfunctional Muscle Reset
Dry Needling is a skilled technique using a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and/or underlying tissues to affect change in the body structures or functions for the evaluation and management of neuromusculoskeletal conditions, pain, movement impairments and disability.
Lift and Revive
An ancient Egyptian and Chinese method of improving blood flow to hypoxic tissues and removing adhesions between the layers of tissues. Helps shorten recovery time and reduce pain.
RETURN TO SPORT
Guided Exercise Programming
The process of return to sport does not end once an injury heals. The involved tissues need to be appropriately trained to manage the load demands of the sport. Skipping this step of the rehabilitation program often results in re-injury. We help guide patients through a progressive program with emphasis on strength, agility, plyometrics and sport-specific training to help ensure a safe and appropriate return to sport.
Stop Injuries Before They Happen
The best way to avoid injuries is to address potential risk factors early. Our movement experts can help identify these issues and offer solutions and training programs to help address these areas and keep you injury free. Though it is impossible to completely reduce the risk of injury in sport, research has shown that programs such as Sportsmetrics, in which Dr. Schroeder is a certified instructor, can help reduce the risk of ACL injuries by up to 72%.
